A Total Commitment to Safety
Waterline Square has created a comprehensive strategy for operating New York City’s finest residential property and amenities facility with the highest levels of safety and confidence. In accordance with government regulations, CDC guidelines and proven practices, the Waterline Square team will be implementing rigorous protocols to carry out an extensive disinfecting process and ensure cleanliness in The Waterline Club and throughout the entire property.
Waterline Square has developed enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures that go beyond federal, state, and local guidelines and align with public health recommendations.
Waterline Square uses medical-grade, EPA-registered disinfectants for continuous deep-cleaning processes. Designated areas of the building may be closed when facilitating cleaning.
Residents are asked to use the Waterline Square’s touchless hand sanitizer stations upon entering and frequently throughout their visit. Residents are also encouraged to wash their hands regularly.
Residents are asked to use disinfectant wipes on equipment and supplies before and after use. Disinfectant wipes will be available throughout the building.
Waterline Square features a sub-micron water filtration system. The Omicron Water Technologies system meets or exceeds all current US enhanced filtration standards (including NSF, ANSI, AWWA, ASE, and others) and international quality code ISO-14001. The system reduces the contaminant spectrum that can be found in most tap water – including chlorine, lead, copper, zinc, nickel, oxidized iron and manganese particles, VOCs, THMs, cysts and bacteria.
Employees, patrons, and individuals over the age of two are required to wear acceptable face coverings at all times, in all public areas, including anywhere in The Waterline Club. Acceptable face coverings include, but are not limited to, doth-based coverings and disposable masks that fully cover both the mouth and nose. Unfortunately, bandannas, buffs, and gaiters are not acceptable face coverings.
The Waterline Club members and staff are required to complete a Health Declaration and contact tracing upon each entry confirming that, in the past 14 days, they have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms or that has tested positive for COVID-19, that they themselves are not experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, and that they have not traveled within a state of significant community spread of COVID-19 for longer than 24 hours.
Social distancing markers will be placed on floors and signage will be placed throughout the public space reminding members to practice social distancing, wipe down equipment, and wash hands.
The Waterline Club entrance will be equipped with touchless entry scanners to provide a protective shield for The Waterline Club Members.
Residents are asked to maintain customary social distancing and stay at least 6 feet from others. Resident staff will be monitoring social distancing requirements at the Waterline Square.
Fitness equipment has been reconfigured and reduced for safer use. However, some small or difficult-to-clean items that do not comply with cleaning protocols will be temporarily removed until further notice. Contact the Waterline Club Staff for current closures.
Temporary Use Restrictions
Full compliance with government requirements may effect certain facilities and services resulting in closures and postponements. For private in-house Massage and Personal Training, appointments are available by contacting The Waterline Club Staff. Currently, Club guests and Independent Service Providers are not allowed until further notice.
The Waterline Club members will be asked to alert The Waterline Club manager if they test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their last visit. All names will be kept confidential. Residents will be emailed notification of positive tests.
Waterline Square Lifestyle Associates and staff will be on-site and available to answer questions and attend to residents’ needs. All rules and policies are subject to change.
